For participants

We offer a wide range of support to asylum seekers:

  • Finnish language studies
  • English language studies
  • Digital skills instruction
  • Job search support
  • Instruction in the rules of employment in Finland
  • Organization of leisure activities

Language teaching

Our Finnish and English language studies focus on language learning activities that support integration and employment. We practice vocabulary, grammar and useful phrases required in everyday life and employment.

Digital skills and e-services

Our digital skills instruction focuses on the e-service platforms used in Finland (TE Office e-services and online banking), useful websites (search sites for rental apartments, websites of Satakunta region services, train and bus transport sites) and electronic channels for job-seeking (Job Market Finland and recruitment websites).

Job search support

We provide job search support in group and personal sessions. We help you in writing a CV and job applications, guide you through job search practices, help you find vacancies and, if necessary, support you in job interviews and job orientation.

Rules of employment in Finland

Equal employment and opportunities to find employment are the cornerstones of the project’s activities. We provide information on the Finnish labor legislation, employment and work culture as well as the duties and rights of employees. We also cooperate with other projects and jointly organize information and recruitment events for asylum seekers and persons under temporary protection. The aim of the events is to provide information on work-related exploitation and operating models that prevent it.

Leisure activities

The purpose of our leisure activities and events is to enable comprehensive integration into the local community through hobbies and excursions. The activities are aimed at employees recruited through the project.
